The Friends of the Norfolk Public Library
Book and Bake Sale

With over 30,000 fiction and non-fiction books categorized and alphabetized, The Friends of the Norfolk Public Library Annual Book and Bake Sale is no ordinary book sale. We sell popular titles and classics plus a wide variety of nonfiction as well as an extensive collection of children's books -- all in good to excellent condition. Prices range from $.50 to $2 with some higher prices for special collection books. Saturday's event also offers the sale of homemade baked goods. Funds raised from the Book and Bake sale benefit the Norfolk Public Library. We accept cash, checks and credit cards.

When - Friends Members are invited to shop early at the private Members Only preview sale on Friday night. A 2013 membership is required and can be purchased at the door for $20 starting at 5 pm. Membership and information is available at the Library or through The Friends link on the Library's website. Be sure to bring your library card with sticker as proof of your membership.

From Boston and points north: Take Route 95 south to Route 1 south. Follow Route 1 past Gillette Stadium and turn right at light on Pine Street (turn is right after Lafayette House Restaurant on your right) then turn right on Route 115. Follow Route 115 straight to the center of Norfolk (you will cross Route 1A). As you approach the Norfolk town common you will reach a roundabout. Take the first right and proceed to the next roundabout. Take the third right in the second roundabout. Follow this up Main Street to Boardman. Take a right onto Boardman then left onto Medway Branch. 33 Medway Branch is the last building on the left with plenty of parking in the lot and on the street.

From Providence and points south: From Providence and points south: Take Route 95 North to Route 495 North (Exit 6B). Go 2.8 miles to exit #14A, Route 1 North. Travel 3.4 miles and turn left at light on Pine Street (turn is right before Lafayette House Restaurant on far left corner). At the stop sign, turn right onto Route 115. Follow Route 115 straight to the center of Norfolk (you will cross Route 1A). As you approach the Norfolk town common you will reach a roundabout. From Route 495: Take exit 16, the King Street exit off Route 495. Stay on King Street into Franklin. It will become Chestnut Street as it crosses Route 140. Stay on same street into Norfolk where it becomes Main Street.
